Peak #4!! I did this hike with my son Griffin.  Getting to the trail head was not too hard but the last 100 yards is off road and was a bit challenging in my 4 door sedan.  This was a beautiful hike.  Not too crowded, great views.  Some bugs here and there but not too bad.

There is a nice spring at Limber Pine that was very refreshing.

This is a challenging hike.  As a day hike you really can't get comfortable with the altitude.  You have about 4 miles of the ascent above 9000 ft. so that will slow you down.  Feels like doing 3 shots of Tequila and then deciding to hike.  Your a bit woosy and of course catching a breath is a challenge.  We were well hydrated, took some advil and that helped a lot.

At 7.2 mi. there is a short detour to a stone bench.  Awesome views, I highly recommend.

Overall a wonderful hike.
