One of my very favorite trails I hiked this summer. Hardly anyone on the trail but it was very well maintained. Gorgeous scenery from the moment you step out of the car. High above Big Bear Lake. Such total peaceful bliss! The road to the parking area was very rough and parking was pretty full early morning. It was a cool, crisp day all the way from start to finish. 7 1/2 hours moving time for the 16.7 mile hike as tracked by AllTrails app.
