My husband and I started 4/14 and hiked up to Limber Pines to camp for the night with 35-40lb backpacks (which was a challenge). There was a little snow right befor the campground. We hike to the peak the next morning, glad we had microspikes, as there was still quite a bit of snow. Near the peak it was hard to follow the trail, so we just made our own trail to the top.
