we started early to give Kayla some practice hiking in the dark with a headlamp – it was chilly! But Perseids are on and I got to see a few meteors at the start so that was cool.
faceplanted and twinged my elbow so that sucked since I couldn’t use my arm very well for most of the hike. And we haven’t done a long hike in almost a month so it was painful. But we made it (mostly we made it down, the way up was fine, the down was hard). There were 3 signs at the top today!
