Long and strenuous hike.  Great prep for Mt Whitney.  Creek is flowing with plenty of water and multiple places to fill up along the trail.  Last place for Water is High Creek Camp.  Parking fills up early and the heat will drain you, so start early!  At the peak it was windy.  There was also snow (not on the trail) near the top.  Kids liked holding snowballs as the hiked the last stretch.  Not many mosquitoes which was nice.  One more peak to go (Ontario)!  Thanks to the two groups that gave the kids some Gummy Bears and Gummy worms.  Kids said they were delicious!  🙂
