Hike Log

San Gorgonio

Trailhead:

Vivian Creek

Type of Hike:

Day hike

Trail Conditions:

Trail in good condition

ROAD:

Road suitable for all vehicles

Bugs:

No bugs

Snow:

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Perfect weather. Only 2 sections with minimal snow on trail, 5’ and 10’ long. Slushy and no traction device needed.

I expected blooming wildflowers like last year between 2.2 and 3 miles in, but almost none there this year. The nicest wildflowers on the trail were Lupins ironically only 10’ after the trailhead sign at the parking lot.
