Backpacked up to High Creek Campground.  As forecast, it was windy during the night.  Not sure what the temp dropped down to, but imagine it was around 35, I did check it at 6:00 after the sun was up for a bit and it was 41 degrees, but the wind was gone.  The creek was flowing well and plenty of water.  The wind picked up the last mile and need to put on a wind/rain jacket the last half mile as it was blowing pretty hard, and thus chilly.

Surprisingly I registered right at 18.4 miles and 9 hours 45 minutes miles round trip.  Usually don't end up right on the mileage.

Last local hike before I do a week in the Sierras; plan to do Langley and Whitney, fly fishing the whole way.

Get back and do the other 5 of my 6 pack challenge.
