Big Falls parking lot was still closed, so we had to park down at Momyer Creek trail head about 2 miles down the road.  This added additional mileage.  Knowing this we decided to do this as an overnight trip.  Snow started at the closed gate before Big Falls parking lot.  So, it was full of snow all the way to the summit.  We brought and used snowshoes for portions of the route.  There were no tracks, so we set our own route and only saw 1 person the entire trip.  It was very windy at the summit, so we hunkered down against the rocks to grab a quick bite before heading down.  Kids really enjoyed this trip.
