3 a.m. wakeup call for this one. I forgot how pretty Marion Mt. Trail is, even if it does try to kill you in the first two miles.
Parking lot was pretty busy and even though we got there at 5 a.m. we got one of the last spots. When we got to the top only a couple of people were there but they left promptly. A few minutes later it was almost as if a tour bus pulled up with the amount of people there.
The Apple Fire was definitely visible from San J and we could see the massive flames as we drove down the mountain. Air quality was okay for us though.
