Bugs were not too bad

This is a tough hike. We hiked this before but it this time around it wasn't any easier. If you are going to do Deer Spring Trail, start early. We started late and barely made it back before sunset.

What I liked about the hike:

  • Great Views
  • Shade and vegetation
  • Water sources!

What I didn't like about the hike

  • Some parts overgrown that scratch your legs if wearing shorts
  • Parts that go down when you want to go up
  • Thunderstorm with lightning
