We were at the trailhead at 6:30 am and the temps were comfortable.  Day expected to be close to 80 but the trail was well shaded and heat wasn't an issue.  This climb is a beast (for us!)  — 6.25 miles to the top and most of it climbing.   Technical trail with lots of rocks, roots and boulders.  We used poles all the way up.  Total 12.31 miles, 4491 elevation gain, took us 9:48.   The rock scramble at the very end is a challenge but fun.  Unfortunately the sign was missing at the peak.
