This hike was far the biggest challenge I've had to go through since I started hiking. The hike I did it with 3H hiking group and it was challenging. They are much more experienced hikers than I am. The whole time I felt like I was on a steep mountain going up. When we got to the break area I thought it was nice because we went down the trail and mountain. The small water river we ran into was refreshing. When we finally got to the top it was amazing to see over the clouds which the contrast between the clouds and the mountains. On the way down some of the ladies and I kept sliding down for different reasons. Mine were my shoes because of terrible grip. I for one had very dirty pants from falling but that was the least of my worries because I was more concerned about going home and washing off the poison ivy from my clothes and any other residue on my gear.
