This hike was pleasant on a 50 degree day. There's no shade, so I don't think I'd do this hike if it was any hotter. Also, be prepared to share the road with lots of vehicles! Definitely inhaled a lot more dust than I would have wanted to. Also, to get to the trailhead you're driving on a dirt road for about 7 miles. Thankfully nothing happened to my Honda Accord, but I probably wouldn't do that again unless I had a 4wd vehicle.
