Santiago peak via the Harding Truck Trail to the Main Divide Road.  This makes it just under a 28 mile round trip.  The trail is all fire road but the views make it well worth the trip.  The day was clear at higher altitude but low lying clouds limited the view for most of the day.   This route keeps you out of the Fire Closure area as best I can tell.  We did not see any signs or Forest Service personnel on the hike.  A very hard hike due to distance and elevation gain.  I would not want to try this on a hot day.
