Parked a little down the road from the trailhead because parking was full. A bit sketchy walking on the highway at the beginning and end. Starting up through the woods the trees are nice and the Robert Louis Stevenson monument is a really cool feature on this trail. The trail opens up and it got really windy especially just before the rock that people rope up and climb. It got a little better as we got closer to the top, but the top was really cold once we stopped moving. Views were amazing. To the NNE you could see a really cool looking ridge that I hadn't noticed on maps before as well as Lake Berryessa. To the SW was the ocean. You could see the Napa and Sonoma valleys as well as SF. I think Tam and Diablo were visible as well. Cloud cover gave us just enough of a break for these views. We got drizzled on at different points on the way down. 10 miles and ~2,132 feet (phone died on the descent so tracking stopped at 6.7 miles and this ascent reading) in exactly 4 hours.
