Wasson Peak is located in the Saguaro National Park and the hike is picturesque like something straight out of an Arizona magazine. The day was cloudy with highs in the mid 60's and the views were phenomenal. You can hike the trail as described or you can begin going up the wash until you intersect with the trail to the right. On the return if you aren't careful you will miss your turn back up to the trail and you'll hike the wash anyway adding more distance to your hike. If you have the time it's probably worthwhile. Great hike!
