Scary night hike

Hiked solo and summit after 5pm and it became dark right away. Got lost just after the peak going down n it was pretty scary when all looks the same in the dark despite or head lamp. Thank god for All Trail app. I was able to trace my way back to the trail in hidden bushes. I will never go back in trail when it is dark let alone hiking alone.
