This was a beautiful day for a hike. Three friends of mine and I met in the parking lot and hit the trail. We saw several groups as we started, but for the most part we had the trail to ourselves. When he reached the peak it was crowded. Apparently there was a scout group that was hiking and then camping out overnight. One couple pointed out a rattlesnake, but we didn't see it. It was the first hike that my friends and I have done together since our 5 day backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon, R2R2R.
