Spent Valentine’s Day hiking up to Sitton Peak!

The weather was absolutely perfect for hiking, and the hike itself was very moderate, only gaining difficulty during the last half mile push up to the summit.

The trail is very rutted and washed out, especially The final stretch to the summit. I *would not* attempt to summit right after a rain storm. Having good hiking boots and trekking poles were a huge help specifically on the trip back down the mountain, although I still slid and managed to roll my ankle twice.

Not my favorite hike, but the views at the summit made it worth it!
