This was a lovely hike on a warm and sunny day. There is very little cover, so a hat is a necessity.  The wildflowers were abundant, but because everything is in bloom the trail is slightly overgrown.  The final approach to the peak was as challenging a people mentioned in the reviews on Alltrails.  If you hike early this is a very manageable trek.  If you hike midday bring more water than you think you will need.
