Trail was fairly simple easy most of the way in my opinion until that last .04 mile to the peak where it becomes more of a climb than a hike and you begin to wonder how the crap you will make it back down without sliding off the mountain. Alas I made the trip and was treated to some beautiful views of the ocean, Catalina Island and some snowy peaks off in the distance as well.
Weather could not have been more perfect for the hike. Hope I can get these last 3 peaks in before Spring. Couldn’t imagine doing that hike on a hot day. Plenty of shade till the last 1.9 miles or so.
