The weather today was beautiful for this hike!  The beginning of the hike has plenty of shade but the end is pretty exposed. Fairly easy hike with a little scramble the last .8 mile.  Another amazing view from the top.  Lots of beautiful spring foliage starting to shine. Ferns, nightshades and the manzanita bushes were buzzing with bees enjoying their blooms. 10 miles flew by and I will definitely do this hike again.

We got to the parking lot at around 8:30 am. Plenty of spots. Trail head is across from the parking lot by the candy store. Not a lot of hikers out but it is a Monday.
