We met up at the trailhead at 7.30am and there was still plenty of parking available then. It was pleasantly overcast initially but by half way up to the peak, the clouds had worn off and it was warm on the way down. The views over Orange county were only partially obscured by more clouds/smog but there were too many clouds to see any islands or the ocean. Very pleasant hike except for the last 0.3 miles to the peak which was quite steep.
