The weather yesterday was so unlike the last time we tackled Sitton Peak last week, during the super bloom saga. While it was warm and humid this time last year, it was cold and foggy this time around, and muddy too.

Because of the mud and super narrow trail, we had to be extra careful with our footing on that last half-mile stretch. I've never been too happy t yield to oncoming hikers whether going up or coming down. 🙂

It was still a good time to be out hiking with friends. We had culminated the day with burgers, fries and beer at nearby Hell's Kitchen, a biker hangout along Ortega Highway.
