Started the hike at 8 am. The parking lot opposite the trail head is closed. But there is plenty of parking along the road.
Fairly easy trail. I did the loop from Bear Canyon and back on the main Sitton Peak trail for a bit of variation. Great conditions for a hike.
The trail is a bit up and down. Be careful, the first 4.5 miles to the peak lull you into a false sense of ease. The last 0.3 miles or so is a steep climb and pretty brutal. The views from the peak is amazing though. It can get a bit crowded in the afternoon. Get there early.
