Great clear day – highs in the 70s, so cool start but fairly warm most of the hike.  We started around 9am and finished just after 1pm.  Hiked in hiking pants, sleeveless shirt, which worked out well.  While we would've been warm enough in shorts, long pants were good to protect from bushes and sticks in narrower parts of the trail.  This is a relatively easy hike, with only a short uphill section at the end that taxed us.

Wildlife included bunnies, lots of lizards, and a hawk (and some flies, but we won't count them).

Drank roughly 1.5 liters of water and snacked once on the way up (PB&J) and once on the summit (snack mix).

Hiked with Aga.

Stats from my AllTrails recording:  9.9mi, 2,113 ft elevation gain, 4:00:31 moving time, 24:12 pace, 2086 calories.  We took the more direct way (going towards 4 corners at the first key choice) on the way up and the slightly longer route (0.5 mile longer choice from 4 corners) on the way back.
