Yesterday was a great day for a hike. Sunny and cool. My husband and I took on Sitton Peak. Except for the last 0.4 mile, it was actually a more of a moderate hike. But that last 0.4 is a doozy. Pretty steep climb and challenging terrain due to the recent rain. The view from the peak was beautiful and well-worth the climb. If it was closer to us, it is definitely a hike we would do more often.

  1. I love the Sitton Scramble to the peak. It’s the reason why I now prefer foldable trekking poles over collapsable poles, because foldable poles have a longer height adjustment (short going up, long going down) especially when fiends borrow my poles. I’m glad it was a great day. I’m going this weekend and expect it to very green.
