Four months ago I summitted Mt Baden-Powell and barely made it out alive (https://socialhiker.net/hike_log/fateful-hike-up-snow-ice-mt-baden-powell/).  Today I resumed my quest for the Six-Pack of Peaks by summitting Sitton Peak, a relatively easy climb.  The first 4 miles are a gentle upward hike, followed by about a half mile of downhill before the last 1/4-mile steep push toward the summit.  The steep part is short and there are a couple of spots that require careful foot traction, but otherwise it's really not so bad, in my opinion;  it does seems extreme, however, after 4.5 miles of hiking at lower effort.  It's well worth it;  the views from the top are spectacular and I was able to see San G way off in the distance;  just toward the north I could see Santiago Peak (one of my planned 6POP conquests).  Check out the candy store near the trailhead;  real old-fashioned candy, and the girl there is really nice and provides helpful hiking tips.
