Arrived here at sunrise, and enjoyed the sights & sounds on this beautiful trail. With the lush greenery and blooming flowers, it already felt like spring. Seemed like a pretty easy walk until the last 1/4 mile – as I’ve been warned! Good thing I brought my poles, there was a lot of loose gravel and lost my footing several times. But the views at the top were gorgeous, looking down at all the other mountaintops. This was our first ten miler in a long time, felt proud to have made it to the summit and back.
