We were extremely tired from hiking five other peaks over the last three days, so we took it slow for 1.2 miles to the summit. The hike is a continual stair climber to the top, and a little crowded, while we did know it was New Years Day. Once we got to the Summit we took a good rest to take in the peak, the accomplishment of the Arizona Six Pack, and even for a New Year’s Day kiss from my girlfriend to celebrate the New Year. It was a great weekend in Arizona and loved the opportunity in hiking all the peaks of the challenge. I’d also recommend the order in which we completed this challenge, if indeed someone would be to hike the challenge in 3 days.
