Our motley group was three friends who have done this a few times before (my 10th time to Sizer), plus two enthusiastic young ladies that we “met” on the Coe Facebook page. Back in August, I convinced them to wait for cooler weather, and we eventually agreed on Oct 20th…which turned out to be much warmer than expected, but we went anyway! About 11 hours, 18 miles, 4000 vertical feet, and ~5 liters of water for each of us. Started at 8AM, and arrived back at HQ around 7:15PM, with headlamps in the dark! All of us are experienced hikers, and well-prepared for hot day. Mission accomplished!. One more for me to complete the challenge in 2018. Mt Rose, which I ‘ve done before, but not recently… https://www.facebook.com/groups/103644046340421/ https://www.strava.com/activities/1917472612
