Rainy day hike made this trail a bit slick. Started off around 8 am with a light mist and ended up a full downpour about 30 minutes into the hike. Relatively moderate grade until the last .75 miles where it’s almost a scramble due to being so steep. Luckily the rain had calmed down a little when we reached this point, but it was slick on the way back down. I don’t think a single member of our 5 party group escaped falling on their butt at least once. Due to it being socked in with clouds, we missed out on a view, but nice trail and summit nonetheless. If you attempt this much later in the year, I imagine it would be hot and you would require sun protection as it is exposed almost the entire way
