Battling a sinus infection is not easy when ascending 2,800ft in 4 miles… mouth breather over here!!! And those gnats! I must have vacuumed a dozen of the poor unknowing bugs into my throat before I covered up with a bandana. It was a much slower pace than usual, but I’m glad to say the sickness did not win! We beat that sucker and peaked in 2.5 hours. I’ll definitely be going back to challenge that time when my nose would like to join the party ????
