Started at the trailhead at first light, and didn't feel the sun till 6:40. Took a wrong turn towards Strawberry Meadows and lost 40 min. there, but I did get to see fresh bear tracks on the trail before I turned around. The yucca plants are overgrown on the trail quite a bit, so you end up getting poked quite a bit.
