On the drive to the trailhead, the unpaved road section had some parts where there was water from the recent rain but the road was generally still passable for vehicles. There were several cars at the trailhead but there were sufficient vacant spots as this was around mid-afternoon. The weather was good and there were some wildflowers that were out. The seasonal waterfalls were flowing with water and the creek was flowing.  There were several hikers but it wasn't too crowded, most of the time I was alone in the trail.  I got to Fremont Saddle an hour and a half after I started hiking and took pictures and rested for 30 minutes before heading back. I got back just as the sun was setting but fortunately the sunlight was still sufficient enough that the headlamps were not required.
