I started at 5:40am. Was a bit dismayed that the temperature was already kind of warm. But thankfully there was enough cloud cover to keep temps at bay until just before I finished at 9:15am. Would definitely recommend getting an early start until the weather cools down.
No issues – the trail was in fine condition. Only saw one other person. The restroom was full of bees.
