We decided to head out after work and camp near Lewis Glacier at ~9000’ for our first South Sister hike of the year. The original plan was to camp at the summit, but the wind started to pick up and we ran out of daylight. I got up around 3:30AM the following morning and made the final push to catch the sunrise before we broke camp and headed down. Awesome trip overall with ~5,000’ gained over ~12 miles and amazing views at both sunset and sunrise!
