In parts breath taking and hair raising. For me this challenge was a goal to do something I had never attempted before. Never in my life did I think I could say I summited S. Sister. Smoky through the start, spellbinding on the plateau,and then…the mental fight upward. High winds at the summit meant we didn't linger. We scrambled down just as the clouds over took us and the hike back to the car was a wet one.
