Spiders, snakes and flies- oh my!

As the title suggest, the trail was alive with all sorts of creepy crawly critters this morning! Great views throughout the hike. Lots of shady spots. Lots of wildflowers. This trail is moderate at best, which is good because it was HOT out there today. I was the only person on the trail, which makes sense because it was 64 degrees when I started this morning and 90 degrees when I finished (and it was well before noon!). If you're planning to do this one during the summer, make sure you start EARLY.

Yes! I saw 1 rattlesnake. It’s not my favorite thing, but it’s also just part of SoCal hiking!!!
I’ll be on the look out for them while I’m there.
