Now into the second half of the “Original Six”, each one more challenging than I'd ever done before!
Nice climb the whole time, more or less. At the summit, not a local beer, but the eminent Jeff Hester suggested “Saint Bernardus Abt 12” Belgian Beer- and it was great! Along with endorphins of accomplishment and adrenaline and caffeine, going down was a reeeeeeeeal good feeling.
Tacos at the lodge right outside of the trailhead were pretty dang good- homemade salsa was great, and the fish taco was amazing!
