Our Wednesday Day Off and we sauntered to LA County’s tallest peak, Mt. Baldy (10,064’) via Register Ridge, my favorite route to Baldy. It’s very steep AF with loose dirt, straight up to the top-total 3 miles from Manker to the summit, then descended via Devils Backbone. Total 9 miles with 3,700’ total elevation gained.

  1. Hi Cecilia,
It was nice to meet you on the top of My Baldy. Thank you for sharing your Six Pack banner! I read your post and I see I have a new challenge for next time, to hike up Register Ridge!
I finished my Six Pack on San G this year yesterday, after Baldy. My friends and I tried Fish Creek for the first time. I liked it!
