The weather was perfect! It was warm but not too hot, even getting started around 9:30. I took my 65 liter pack for training, and there were some parts of the trail closer to the peak that required a little scrambling or were a little slippery. Overall, trail was in good condition, and saw a good number of groups, but definitely not crowded. My friend traveling with me was pretty new to hiking so she decided to stay back about 20 minutes from the top. Beautiful views of the area from the top, though I would say “for your eyes only” type of views.
