Angeles Crest Hwy is closed at the Redbox junction due to the Bobcat fire residual. Trail head is accessible. The last half mile is very steep and hiking poles are very helpful. Great hike and a cool day.

We parked at the Redbox parking lot. There was some parking on the street.
