We started our hike a little later than we wanted since we came from my brother's house about 2 hours away. We got to the trailhead at around 9 AM and the weather was moderately hot. We did not prepare well for the hike, as we did not bring enough water. The way up from the trailhead was steep, almost reaching a scramble at some points. There were not too many people as the heat was starting to become a problem. We got to the summit around 3 hours later and took some pictures at the top. The view was of downtown Los Angeles and there were multiple signs at the top. The way down was steep as well and the heat got worse, but we managed to continue on without much problems. Overall, the hike was good and challenging, despite it being a shorter one.
