I showed up at 7ish and was able to park in the small dirt lot just past the trailhead.     Would highly recommend being early for this one.  I encountered maybe 4-5 other groups on the the way up and maybe another 5-6 on the way down.

There was 1 maybe 2 spots microspikes would be beneficial to many.  Ice in the morning turns to slush in the afternoon.
