The weather was perfect today! It was in the 40s for most of the hike with a nice breeze. The trail was flat and pretty easy for the first 2 miles until the last 1.5-2 miles up to the peak where it's a bit of a scramble and it gets pretty steep. There were points where I needed to put the hiking poles in one hand and haul myself up or down with my hands. Overall the trail was pretty clear but I was happy to have the downloaded map at one point where the trail branched off in 4 directions. Overall a great hike and workout that was closer to 7.9 miles round trip than 7.2 miles. I can't wait for the next peak!!
