Really fun trail with great views. Definitely download the map from All Trails as there are a few places that it can be questionable which way to go.

The first 1.5 to 2 miles are easy, pretty flat but on the edge of a drop off. If you get there early these miles are almost completely in the shade. On the way out, it was all exposed. The rest of the hike has some good changes in elevation & terrain. There are some fun scrambles over rocks, but most of those areas have more then one path to choose from. There are some false peaks, you’ll know your at the top when you see the signs.

  1. You can also use GaiaGPS to help keep you on the right path. Strawberry Peak is one of my faves. Living in LA, it’s easy to get to and a great workout.
