It was a clear day above the June gloom! Skies were totally clear and it was definitely warmer than we thought it would be. We started at 7:30am and it was pretty crowded but not too bad. The uphill part is always hard, but the heat and sun made it more difficult. Make sure to bring lots of water if you do this hike, there is no shade once you start going up. And poles really help, especially when going back down the steep parts.
