I did this trail July 3rd after I got out of class early. I went at peak time around noon when the sun was at its highest and the weather was pretty warm but not excessively bad. I only took 2 liters of water and that ended up being the perfect amount for me for this hike. Overall was a pretty short hike, the last 1.5 miles was treacherous because it was such a steep incline which made the trip last longer than i expected it to. Overall great little hike, there was only 4 other people on the trial when i went and one couple was on their way out when I started. The trail can get a little confusing because you can miss the post that directs your way up to the peak and not down to the meadows below. So, don’t get lost on that part! If you’re not going a sharp uphill grind the for at least 2 miles you might have gone the wrong way.
