What a lovely day to hike and spend our 18th year anniversary in nature with good friends. It was a warm, sunny hike with gorgeous views of the mountains. One top view I thought the vast hilly mountains looked similar to the popular “Chocolate Hills” in Bohol, Philippines with the cone-shaped peaks. For the most part, the trail ascends gradually until you hit the last mile or two where you will scramble through rocks at the same time ensuring you do not get pricked by thick and sharp plants/shrubs. Just glad I like to wear long sleeves and long pants ????
Mt. Wilson was a sight to see. (The last time we summited we couldn't find the Mt. Wilson sign so we settled to pose at the trailhead post & promised ourselves to one day go back & find the ‘official sign' and take lots of photos, hahaha. Anyhoo, to make the long story short we went back to Mt. Wilson same day).
